So allow me to introduce myself. Hi, my name is...Greg Payne I served in the United States Army from June 1968 April 1971 as a Combat Infantryman for the 199th Light Infantry Brigade during the 1969 TET Counter Offensive in Vietnam. Then I did a second tour of combat with the 7th Infantry Division (Light) on the DMZ border between North and South Korea. I was exposed to "Agent Orange in Vietnam and am now a disabled (combat wounded) Vietnam Veteran in a long term Veterans Nursing home in The Dalles, Oregon.
I come from a long line of a military family as you are about to see. You are about to see and meet my family and our losses and deaths as well as all of my friends, and my struggle with "Agent Orange" and all the work I've done for our veterans, with politicians back in Washington D.C. and the Memorials and other websites that I have wrote. So let my family meet your family, so you will know that you are not the only ones who have had to go through these trying ordeals.
